Jim Higgs founded JB Racing in 1979 in order to bring precision machine services to the racing and exotic car market.  Now more than 45 years later, JB Racing continues to be the leader in design, development and manufacture of high-performance components for the BMW and Porsche market. 

On January 10, 2025, JKE Works, Inc. purchased JB Racing Products’ line of High-Performance Aluminum flywheels designed for BMW and Porsche along with the JB Racing Products name.  As part of the agreement, manufacturing of the JB Racing flywheel line has been relocated to the JKE Works facility in Mount Dora, Florida. JB Racing flywheels will continue to be available through the established distributor network, as well as directly from JKE Works, Inc.
